Scuba Diving Holidays In Carribbean
If golden sands and clear blue dives are for you, then head for the Caribbean where the welcome is as warm as the water.
In the Caribbean conditions for diving are near perfect, with average water temperatures in the mid twenties year round, excellent visibility and the variety and caliber of it’s dive sites, there are few places in the world to rival it.
With spectacular wall reefs, fan corals and wrecks of all types and ages, as well as a wide variety of marine life including rays, turtles, reef sharks and over 1000 types of tropical fish, there is something for all scuba divers no matter what their level of experience from basic to technical or what dive experience they are seeking.
The Caribbean waters have some of the biggest reefs in the world and hence a huge variety of dive sites, meaning that although thousands of scuba divers from around the world visit the area each year to dive most sites are still in excellent condition and aren’t as crowded as some of the other popular dive destinations in the world.
With a significant amount of their tourist income generated from diving the area is well geared to providing facilities and there are a wealth of scuba dives schools and operators available to choose from.
One of the most enjoyable things about the Caribbean is it’s accessibility to dive sites, in most regions of the world this can mean significant boat journeys or live aboard’s in order to experience the best of what is on offer, in the Caribbean however, although live aboard’s are available to visit outlying islands and reefs, they are by no means essential as a large number of excellant sites are accessible via a short boat ride or even via a shore entry.
Diving in the Caribbean is a wonderful experience and no matter where you scuba dive you will find it to be amongst the best in the world.
