Scuba Diving Holidays Aruba
Aruba's sheltered western shore offers great wreck and reef diving, with some lovely beaches and coves thrown in!

Aruba Description
The smallest of the Netherlands Antilles, Aruba lies
18 miles off the coast of Venezuela and 42 miles west
of Curaçao. The island's coast features
sandy coves and clean, clear water making it one of the
more popular sites for tourists.
Diving Description
Diving on the exposed side of the island is quite rough
going due to the trade winds, so activities are generally
concentrated on one area, around Aruba's sheltered
western shore. The popularity of the reefs with divers
has meant that the authorities have had to install mooring
buoys at the most visited sites. There are plans afoot
to set up a marine park to protect the reef and marine
life. There is also a move to set up reef cleaning operations.
Aruba Dive Sites
Aruba boasts about 42 dive sites that include several
wrecks, reefs and a couple of walls.
Other info
Aruba is warm and sunny the year round, but the trade winds
keep temperatures a little cooler than neighbouring islands
